A Day Well Spent
While the rest of America was embroiled in battles over televisions and toys, I was spending quality time with my brother Charlie. He has a regular 9-5 that keeps him out of town for sometimes weeks at a time, and I don't get to see him all that much. When he asked me if I wanted to go out delivering Grub Hub with him, I jumped at the chance to make some extra cash for Orlando, spend time with Charlie, and take Rhoda on another adventure. Well, Charlie said no to Rhoda. I know. How could anyone say no to adorable Rhoda?! Sure, she causes mischief and is rather talkative, but she's RHODA! That's okay. Little did he know that she had made a new friend before we left home this morning, and he fits in my pocket.
Charlie has forgotten what it's like to be a kid. Pity, I know. He's so serious, so when I pulled Dennis out of my pocket, he shook his head and called me by my full name - which thank the gods is not Mary Catherine. I set my imagination to full wander and started snapping pics of Dennis being Dennis.
The parking lots of any shopping center in Michigan are always littered with Herring Gulls; their numbers double when a restaurant is nearby. This one thought that he could make a meal out of Dennis. Thankfully he was safe behind the glass.
All in all I had a perfect day with my brother. Even if he thinks I'm crazy because he can't get his head out of the box ;) I love him with all of my heart.

I found you via the #steemusa tag and I'm glad I did. :D
Rhoda and Dennis are stinking adorable! You guys were pretty adorable in 1984 too. I was in High School back then. Being an 80s teenager was the best. :D
The 80s was a great time to be a kid in general. ;) Thanks for stopping by, @debralee. I'm glad you found me too :D
Sounds like a greta day and love te shots of Dennis :)
