Clouds made the time lapse work beautifully. :-)

Thank Mike, it shows how fast things can change in the mountains.
No wonder people get caught out sometimes.

Great timelapse Michael :-)

Thanks Kevin, it turned out ok but I don't think I will use the Canon for time-lapse astrophotography.
At least not with this software.
Far to much post processing required.
I need to go the stacking route too.

You're welcome Michael :-)
I think for the Canons there is a Software called Magic Lantern which has functions for timelapse.
but the wear is increased for the mirror and shutter by the large number of images.
If you need help with stacking just ask me on discord :-)

Cool, I will do when I get some decent shots.
I used Magic Lantern for this time lapse but it didn't work as I expected. I need to do some more research on this software.

:-)

I don't know how it works because I'm using Nikon and there is no such Firmware, but maybe there are some workarounds on youtube or in some blogs?

There are a few youtube videos showing the Magic Lantern software for night photography and time lapse. I must have set it up wring somehow?
More practice with it will help I'm sure ;-)

Unfortunately, I have no idea how magic lantern works. But I think it will be a little bit complicated to get it set up properly on the small display of the camera?

I understand it was hard to do but the result deserves all the praise. Wonderful!

Thanks @bluemoon it was quite a bit of work but at least I got the fast changing weather which is what I was after.

Yes, the achievement is important.

Excellent! I've made some of these in the past, not as nice as this. Well done! Resteemed :)

Thank you Keith, it was a bit tricky but came out ok in the end.

It is quite beautiful! The colors are wonderful and the movement makes me feel like I am there, too! Too bad it gave you such all round grief!

It was a good day all things considered. It just caused me a bit more work than I was expecting.
It was shot from a castle where Beatrix Potter used to visit for holidays when she was a child.
I'll post something about it soon'ish :-)

I'll be looking forward to it. I remember hearing a while ago that there was a new documentary coming out about her, but I haven't stumbled across it.

She was a very interesting woman and way ahead of her time. I'm hoping to be doing some posts on her contribution to the national parks in Britain. It is an interesting story in itself apart from her writing which was pretty amazing.

Although we all know Peter Rabbit, I suspect many of us don't know much about his creator. I would love to hear more about her.

I'll do my best to give a taste of her many talents but she really could fill a few books...and no doubt has :-)

Just a taste will be great! I know how to find out more about her if I want more!

wuao a paradise, what a show

Thanks @glorimarbolivar it is a beautiful part of the country.
