I plan to use the bulb setting before too long and get some shots... bought a remote switch.. I do not have any fancy lenses...we'll see what happens

Looking forward to seeing your images. The key thing I think is the remote and keeping the camera still.
Just open the shutter for 2,5,10,15,30 seconds and see what you get. Good luck. The lenses that I have are both wide angle and are pretty amazing. They capture a huge area of the sky.

Nice job. Bulb mode is good, but if you don't want to see the stars streaking, 20 sec. exposure should do the job.

Thanks for the advice. I've been trying a range of exposure settings.
I actually like the star trails as they show just how fast everything is moving.
For more clarity. I'm going to try some time lapses too :)

Can't believe that I got a shot of the Milky way. It's not the greatest photo but it is a proof of the potential of the camera. I just need more practice :)

So cool, molometer:)

I think this alone has become a very good work and business comrade @molometer, I am proud of the work of your friends.

Thank you for your comments and for the resteems. :) did you like the video? It wasn't playing for the first hour? lol

photography amazing friend, @molometer

Thank you :)

good effort my friend @molometer

Thank you, glad you liked it ;)

I've always fancied having a go at astrophotoraphy @molometer but, as I don't have a camera, it's not going to happen anytime soon.

We once went to a lecture about it and I was amazed and what brilliant shots you could get with a pretty standard telescope and camera.

I'm on the look out for a good telescope once I've mastered the camera ;)

wow, nice.....
but how did u capture the first photo??
that's just amazing... 👏👏

Haha I explained the method for that photo in the video. Give it a watch.
