I wanted to let you know about we in steemit have some programs for newcomers coming into steem network.
Here's the link to the community https://steemit.com/trending/hive-172186 I'm part of the STEEM POD team and we have some special program for newcomers coming into steem, we call it Pro Minnow Program, its basically a support program for newcomers where you will be assigned under one of our steem greeters team and she/he will guide you through the program and give support to your content for about 6weeks or until your steem account reach minnow level of 500steem power.
