Photo story: preparing a coffee

in #photography6 years ago (edited)
Hi guys, again I come to talk about something that has happened to me recently, as many know I started recently to take photos trying to learn a new discipline, it has not been easy, in fact I see that professional photographers have a lot of work when it comes to a session, or at least that's how I think it is, although I've only done things as a means of practice, it has not been easy, but I do not plan to give up so easily.

This week I was able to help a friend with a photography project, which consists of telling a story through a sequence of photos, a series of steps to make something, she as a coffee addict, I take as a project the preparation of a coffee, since you put the coffee powder together until it is served at the rate.

Mocachino

I found it interesting to try, I also know that food photography is a fairly common job in the photography career, as payment could enjoy a coffee and a dessert, how could this fan of desserts say no?

Use my Nikon D3100, with a Nikkor 18-55 lens with fixed specifications this time, I did not need to vary the parameters, use a ISO 400, 1/200, F3.6 setting the place was sufficiently illuminated, which was of great help for me.

Taking pictures of food when you are hungry can become complicated

Coffee preparation

This photo shows how the powder is crushed to add as much coffee as possible, so you can get the greatest amount of flavor

Then you can prepare the coffee, although this coffee to be a Mocachino you need to prepare everything before emptying the coffee in the rate or the container of the presentation, so leaving aside the coffee, let's see the preparation of the rest.

Chocolate is served at the bottom first, this will be what combined to the coffee will give the typical flavor of mocachino

after that milk will be heated to make milk cream for coffee

Finished this, it is time to serve the coffee, very slow so that the colors that are appreciated for each ingredient are not lost

After that, add a little cinnamon and milk cream foam

After that a little extra cinnamon and we have a well prepared mochachino

De esa forma tenemos un cafe bien preparado, y porque no? compartirlo con un postre no esta demás, una torta de chocolate con crema de limón, una combinación poco usual, pero crean en mi, muy deliciosa en verdad.

This coffee was prepared in "Cafe Avellana" a place where all kinds of sweets and coffee products are sold, it is a pretty nice place that allowed us to make the pictures without any problem, the most ironic thing is that it is 5 minutes from the place where I live and I did not know that their sweets could be so delicious, now it is one of the places I frequent the most.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you liked the post, I would like to especially thank the cafeteria "Cafe Avellana" for lending us the space to take the photos and for the recommendation of the coffee that was prepared. I want to continue improving in photography subjects, so if you have any advice I would love to leave it to me in the comments.
