Astronomers Discover a Galaxy without Dark Matter!!
Researchers have discovered a ghostly galaxy without a darkmatter. NGC 1052-DF2 is so diffuse it is possible to clearly see distant galaxies behind it.
The newly discovered galaxy is around 65 million light-years away. NGC10051-DF2 is about the same size as our own milky way but with less than half a parts of a hundred as many stars as we do. Scientists also do not see any dark be important around it.
--> All other observed galaxies have a halo of dark matter around or through them. This discovery is unexpected because this invisible substance is the most dominant aspect of any galaxy, anywhere.
--> For tens of years, scientists thought that galaxies start their lives as small round mass of dark be important. After that everything else comes about: gas falls into the dark be the important ring of light around the head. The gas turns into stars, and then you end up with galaxies like the Milky Way.
NGC1052-DF2 questions the quality example ideas of how we have in mind that galaxies form. There is no theory that predicted these types of galaxies. The only starting idea right now is that a greater size, near galaxy, was pulling gas to the inside and that the smaller was simply the outcome of a broken down cloud of gas. But even that doesn't account for all the very strange properties DF2 has.
--> In our universe, dark matter outweighs normal matter by a factor of 6 to 1. The gravitational effect of all that matter holds together galaxies and galaxy clusters.
Every galaxy is surrounded by a halo of dark matter that weighs a trillion suns and extends for hundreds of thousands of light-years. Every massive galaxy as a black hole at its center.
--> Dark matter influences black holes growth and the formation of galaxies. This connection is likely to be related to how elliptical galaxies grow.
--> Their stars and dark matter mingling and mixing together because Because the dark matter overweighs everything else.
It vessels for forming the newly formed elliptical galaxy and guides the growth of the in the middle of black hole. The merger creates a gravitational blueprint that the galaxy. Allowing the stars and the black hole to build themselves and grow further.
--> It also seems that dark matter can apparently accumulate within Earth's core. Eventually, dark matter particles annihilate each other, producing heat. This heat could trigger events such as volcanic eruptions. Mountain building, the magnetic field reversals, and other geologic upheavals. These events peak every 30 million years.
