Anyone Know Google also invest in new bitcoin/block chain technologies?
I Think that Google’s arm is invested in a block chain named as Ripple. It's important to note that Ripple is mostly crap because it is a closed and centrally controlled system whereas bitcoin is a free and open network that is controlled by a distributed network of users

Google has no interest in investing in free and open blockchain networks because blockchain makes their business model obsolete.
Google try to makes BILLIONS of dollars per year from collecting people's personal data and then selling ads to companies based on targeted and relevant personal data but Bitcoin and the blockchain make that much more difficult because it allows the users of the network to control their data instead of giving it to a Big Data company.
So don't go betting that Google is going to invest in any sort of company that makes their multi-billion dollar revenue stream disappear.
