Getting Back in the Fight

What's up, Steemians? I'm starting to get back to losing weight. Lately, I've only been finding weight (get it?). I have a goal to expend at least 1000 calories per work out. So far, I've done that twice, though I didn't get pics the first time,

Yesterday, I met my goal and then some. First, I burned 1015 calories on the elliptical. It took me 65 minutes to do it, but it was a great workout.

Ellipticals are alright, but they're not my favorite form of cardio. I prefer to get my cardio doing things that I love, and for me, that's boxing. I have never been a great boxer or anything like that, but I like being able to take out my frustrations on a heavy bag after a long day's work.

So after I was done with my elliptical work out, I decided to treat myself to a heavy bag workout. It wasn't my best performance as I was tired before starting, but it was fulfilling nonetheless. Here are my stats from the workout:

I don't have the exact measurement for calories on that activity but I am going to estimate a conservative 200 calories for the boxing workout. It was 9 2-minute rounds and I did some work in between rounds.

Today, I'm going to try doing a mix of elliptical, jump rope and pull ups. Hopefully, my day will be just as productive.

I'm sore in the shoulders, but not much else. I have a feeling tomorrow will be worse.
