Forget This Game! Be A Steemer Instead
When the cryptocurrencies began to rise last week we discussed this also in our team. We have some people who have invested in Bitcoin and some other altcoins.
But fast the topic of cryptocurrency changed into a discussion of gaming. Don't ask me how this happened 😁.
My guys were talking about the game everyone is talking the last time.Fortnite! Maybe you heard of it, or you play it yourself. I have to admit that I never tried this game. Ok, let me say that I am not the type of gamer.

When I was younger, I played a lot of PlayStation. But if you are married many things changes 😅
Anyway back to topic. I can't testify if this game is worth the hype or not but I thought when I heard them talking how much hours they play I told them: Guys invest your time better into Steemit? You remember I told you about STEEM and Steemit.
Answer: Ah this weird blogging site. We are not bloggers that's why its nothing for me. Ray, you are different.
The STEEM Blockchain is a pretty versatile blockchain when I can express it that way.
What I mean is that you don't have actually to be a blogger to participate in the ecosystem.
Let's think just about the possibility to earn via curation.
You don't have to necessarily write own contributions. Some people here are earning good via curation.
But what is more interesting for people like them could be the view from the investor perspective. To see and realising the opportunities of a decentralized social media platform that pays four your activities. But this formulation isn't accurate in my opinion.
It's a decentralized social media platform where you COULD get rewarded.
But still better than never!
Believing that STEEM will increase in value over time. In my opinion, it is undervalued.
But it is not easy to put your money into something when you are not familiar with the system or convinced that it can be huge in the future. It takes time to learn about that. I mean in my case it was the same. Every Investment is a risk. But regardless of that it is, or let me better say that it could be a promising investment.
I thought about the conversation I had with my teammates a while longer: They are spending so many hours with this game and are gaining nothing. It makes fun of course, and we need times where we just relax and do something just for our soul. But I am not talking about that. It's more that you put most of the day into this or other games.
Imagine you would invest this time into Steemit?
Guys, we never know where all this will be in few years, but just imagine how all this, the whole STEEM Ecosystem could bring a major change. And the effects of that could be shown in different ways.
You can't take your thinking as the benchmark for other people.
I think this is important to know when you try to bring people to Steemit. If we want or not, there are several hurdles people need to overcome.
To speak from their perspective, explaining and showing them the bigger picture and how they can benefit is a key. Because the whole Blockchain realm is something, you don't understand in a short time.
On the other hand, Steemit is not for everyone; this is something we also need to know and to respect.
I want to close again with the question: Imagine where all this could be in few years? What do you feel when you think about that question?
Brother, you're absolutely right. Here in Venezuela we are looking for alternatives, and thank God we met steemit by chance, my husband looking for you on YouTube, nobody explained to us, nobody told us, only my husband found him and we started to investigate. We have told some friends and family and see us as if we are crazy, hahaha, of course Venezuela is a country that has never been in this cryptocurrency, this year is that they started talking about this issue in the country by an invention of the president , but that is like something disguised in my opinion. But it has helped us a lot steemit and we have recommended it, of several people only 2 have paid us attention and are waiting for their user approval. And it's like you say, you can not handle the minds of other people, so I do thank God for showing us steemit.
I see steemit to be among the top 3 social network in the world in the next five years, because more and more people are joining the platform daily and also base on the fact that more applications are now integrating using the steemit blockchain. Which will make steemit a multi dimensional social platform comprising dtube, dlive, steepshots, busy.org , early e.t.c
So you can see that steemit will be very huge in terms of members in the future. Then talking about gaming I don't spend my precious time on wasteful things that has no economic values to me, I only use my time to do things that add value to my life. That is why I use steemit on a daily basis because it pays to use steemit @modernpastor

This is for me the biggest advantage the STEEM blockchain has. It's not only one application. There are already several running on the same and more are coming in the future.
It was once one of the best way to pass the time but time changes us eventually ;)

Well to be honest I like being a Steemian much mire than being a gamer :) as for the points that you noted out for them and it significantly changed the way that i though about internet.
Well as a matter of fact Steemit is indeed not for everyone but I do really hope people get it as much as possible.
Some people just need some time more to realise something good.
I think many people who already heard of Steemit but think it's not worth the time will change their mind. Of course not everyone, but surely some of them :)
All of us have our own option just sometimes we miss the golden chance and sometimes we take them.
In my opinion getting in on sth and trying it out is indeed the best thing.If it does not give you out anything at the end at least what you get is experience.

Well I just started with steemit a few weeks ago, as I found a little recommendation on another platform. And I thought, ok, I give it a try but still I have to admit, steemit is a big mystery to me. And to add, I'm not a big writer. Maybe as you mentioned it I start with some curation. Totally not sure yet.

And still, it is. That's why it is not so easy for new people just to join this community.
It requires that we need to dive into the system of the blockchain. But slowly we are getting more and more into this :)
Nice one. I was a gamer while 12 years old. The days of Sega and PlayStation 1. Then my Sega was stolen, lost the gaming drive at that point.
Yeah, I lost this drive also years ago. But I'm not missing it :)
You can still wake it up if you are interested. Hustles of life won't permit me that luxury. So stressful being an adult.

I often face similar things with my friends. While telling them about steemit they suddenly switch to argue who is better among C Ronaldo and Messi. Then I will be like come and make all these arguement on Steemit so that more people would be able to contribute.
Another challenge, when it is time for FIFA, these guys don’t wish to play with me, they say, when someone is playing with Tomi you can’t enjoy it because he is always having to pause the game to reply a comment or something’. I just laugh.
The thing is, some of them are getting to develop interest in what I am always saying, I know say because they start to ask leading questions, and I am like have you been checking out steemit lately?
Steemit is not for everyone and I totally understand this so all I do is keep ringing it in their ear.
They don't want to play with you because you're pausing the game for replying 🤣
Some are doing that with Facebook also^^
Maybe there will be a time when they will remember everything you said and giving it a try. We never know. But it's helpful to talk about that. What will happen is then up to them^^
