WATER POLLUTION AROUND DHAKA
Bangladesh is a small country.Dhaka is the capital city of Bangladesh.There are a few rivers in Dhaka.Dhaka is situated in the bang of river named Buriganga. About 15 millions people are living in Dhaka. It is situated in the northern bang of the river. The city of Dhaka is mostly dependent on the river beside Dhaka. For capital city of Bangladesh Dhaka need to progress very quickly. And for this reason the othority want to progress to dhaka day by day. The do not look the sanitation system in Dhaka .
REASON OF POLLUTION IN DHAKA:
1.INCREASING CLOTH INDUSTRY:
you know Bangladesh positioned second in the export ready made cloth in the world. For this case a huge number of ready made cloth industries in the city named Dhaka. For colouring the cloth a huge amount of dust are come out in the pipeline of this industries. About 95% industries are throughing this dust in the nearest river named buriganga. Even they do not filter this dust before throughing this. For this case the water of river are gradually polluted.
2.INCREASING CHEMICAL INDUSTRY:
In this situation of country bangladesh are trying to increase the chemical company for their development. still now they are increasing chemical company. A huge number of poisioning product are come out from that industry.
about 80% industries are not filtering that dust and throw in the nearest river. For this reason the water of river beside Dhaka are gradually polluted.
3.VEHICLES OF WATER:
you know narayangonj port is the longest port in bangladesh which is situated in Dhaka. There are also a port in Dhaka city placed in Sadarghat. There are about 2000 water vehicles around dhaka city. The vehicles always use petrol. The dust of petrol is seek in the river which polluted water. There are about 100 stemers in dhaka. For this case a huge proportion gone to vehicles for water pollution.
4.HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE:
You know Dhaka is one of the healthy populated country in the world. About 15 millions people lives in dhaka. The area of dhaka is almost small for this huge population. For this case the domestic dust is a lot of . The city planner are not aware of this situation. Still now they are not applying any well planned system for making this important. For this reason people throwing the dust beside the road,railway station,bus station,rivers. Basically the planner can not do any thing about this on low budget and they can not control this huge people.For this reason water pollution almost happen by general people.
- UNAWARENESS OF PEOPLE;
In bangladesh a huge number of people are still now illiterate. They are not aware of the rules of the government. They are not well planned. you know illiterate people are always a burden for a country. For this reason the government can not apply any plan.
