Dinosaur eggs
Thousands of them.
I love the way in which
Protein packed chia seeds
look like tiny little dinosaur eggs.
It’s silly to be so sad some days
And then get such great joy
From eating some healthy food
That sparks your inner child’s
Imagination.
I see chia seeds with blueberries
And strawberries
Atop my granola
And I imagine
1 million little dinosaurs
running around
in a miniature forest,
And I smile.
