Share your experience with me in the comments below and I will upvote them. Feel free to share the details of your motorcycle ride. I'll be sharing some of my adventures with you in my photo blogs in the near future.
I have many, but it’s gotta either be the very first time I went out on the road on my 50cc at 16 years old. But the one I want to talk about is my first real motorcycle experience. I saved up all year and when I turned 17 (over 10 years ago!) I got myself my dream bike, the aprilla rs125, decresteicted and tuned. 2stroke, absolutely Wild! It would still feel like a amazing bike to anyone now!
I went out, and stalled over and over, but couldn’t get off it. I couldn’t believe the power when the revs built up and the power band kicked in! Holy smokes it flew! I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing my head off!!!
A few days later, I broke down! I phoned my dad who came to help me, and little did I know - there was a reserve fuel tank and I had just ran outta fuel haha! There was no fuel gauge:) what a bike... my heart still aches since I’ve sold that.
Also... when I was 18... I took out my dads Benellj tornado 900cc.... I’ll never forget that. Feeling really superbike speed for the first time and not really being able to believe the acceleration... absolute insanity! I cruise missile with wheels! I can’t imagine how a kawa h2r would feel!
Anyway... I could go on and on... I’ll stop haha! Thanks for letting me talk about some amazing times!:)
O man I got one for ya. I hope trail bikes fall under this category? As a young dumb kid living in southern california, a friend of mine owned a 100 cc trail bike with a very long seat. One day Me, him and another person (YES 3 people) were all on this bike taking a ride about a quarter mile up the road. As we are going im in the rear and my friend in the middle keeps looking back at me and yelling with an angry face. I couldnt hear a word he was saying. When we stopped he hops off in pain saying he had been yelling at me to move the leg holding on to the foot peg because it jammed his leg into the exhaust! He pulls up his pants and has a HUGE burn up his calf...took him months to recover and he still has the scar. He never blamed me but ill never forget the look on his face as he yelled no sound to me as we rode.....
