Una arañita blanca se despertó en un ramillete de flores blancas, allí la había dejado su papá, para que formara su familia. La mamá araña tiene muchas hijas y el papá araña se encarga de colocarlas en diferentes plantas, para que puedan crecer y multiplicarse sin que les falte el alimento. Así llegó la arañita de este cuento a las flores de berbería.

A little white spider woke up in a bouquet of white flowers, where her father had left her, to form her family. The spider mother has many daughters and the spider father is in charge of placing them in different plants, so that they can grow and multiply without lack of food. This is how the spider in this story arrived at the Barbary flowers.

La arañita Blanca, entre flores blancas, pasaba inadvertida. Su papá había obrado en forma muy inteligente y la dejó protegida por su color entre blancas y dulces flores. Y la arañita, que heredó la sabiduría genética de su especie, pronto descubrió que ubicada en la parte posterior de los pétalos evitaba el calor solar y la deshidratación.

La arañita no perdía el tiempo y aprovechaba al máximo su casa al aire libre. Se cobijaba, alimentaba y reproducía y mientras el tiempo, iba lento para Blanca, la niña, quien pasaba a mirarla un rato en sus momentos de parque; Blanca, la araña pronto se extinguiría, dejando como su madre, en otras plantas nuevas crías. Un ciclo natural, breve, de pocos días. Por eso los agricultores temen a las arañitas, porque pueden dañar cultivos pasando desapercibidas.

Un día, Blanca, la niña, la buscó entre las flores. Incluso en la planta vecina, pero... no estaba. Pensó que se habría ido a jugar con otras flores, en otra planta de las cercanías, pero lo cierto es que se había ido con la brisa tras finalizar su ciclo de vida.
