"Marriage for life or Contract Marriage"
Hello friends and everyone in this great community, It is with great pleasure I come to share my participation in this heart-feeling topic "Marriage for Life or Contract Marriage".
Surely, man will reach a state in life where he needs to marry and start a family, that is where many lovers will start to evaluate other people's experiences about marriage to see its bitterness and Sweetness. Some people prefer a contract marriage so that the spouse will be guided by court terms and the couple's right is limited and regulated by agreed terms while others prefer marriage for life, till death separate couples apart.
What is your understanding of the statement “for better and for worse till death do us part”?
The statement for better and for worse till death do us part is mostly said by couples on their wedding night. This is to affirm the commitment of a newly wedded couple to endure and stick to each other in good and hard times.
The statement is just like an oath to be together with your lover, and the only condition that will separate the two parties is death. In my country Nigeria, it is mostly a statement of commitment to the Christian religion marriage which is compulsory for every couple to affirm.
Which do you prefer marriage for life or a contract marriage?
I prefer a marriage for life, before I will go into a marriage union with a woman, I will take time to know her beyond reasonable doubt. I want to set the foundation with my fiancee based on Love and understanding not contractual.
I want to give my all to my wife and children, I don't see any need for my home to be built based on a contract or court clause. A home built on trust, love, and Christ shall stand the trials of time, so I do not agree to contract marriage.
Do you agree that house chores should not be a role attached to a particular gender?

Yes. Many have the mentality that women should do all the house chores, but that is not a good ideology, women are managers of the house so their responsibilities should not be limited to house chores. No matter how little I earn, I will get a housemaid or help assist with the house chores. I want my wife to have enough time for the children, myself, and also rest.
Consider yourself a specialist in the field, and share some tips with youths about marriage.?
the couple should build their home on Love, Trust, understanding, and affection. If this element is missing in a relationship, please do not marry. Marriage is a lifetime academy of no return, once you make a mistake you hardly recover. Take your time as a youth to get the best wife/husband for yourself.
In conclusion, A broken relationship is better than a broken home, if you make the right decision, you will not regret it. Love is a beautiful thing if you are with the right partner.
