Will I wither and fall like an autumn green leaf,
Starting with this deep pain - this painful grief?
How can I move on or find a way to be strong again?
Will I still enjoy life's sweet memories?

Sometimes a cold memory sheds light in darkness
And relief the pain like the music of a Meadow Lark.
Then it's gone away on silent wings and I'm still alone;
Tasting for more of the light it had shine.

Would bitter cold sadness consume me,
Like winter storm on the vast restless ocean?
I don't know him well to fill the deep desperate need
replanting my heart with hope's beautiful seed?

Another moment I escape to a serene happy place;
Flashing back the laughter and all you would do,
Cherishing the caring, honesty, loving heart of yours.

springing cheerful flowers brings life afresh
Just allow me to forget the agony of missing you?
burst of new life bring fresh hope
Just teach my draining soul and how to cope?

Mostly I will read a card you had given me
The word's special messages makes me think,
The gifts of love I was very lucky to receive,
Then I realize you'd never want to see me sad.

Summer's warm shinny sun bring new glow,
And save me my anguished mind of its painful plight?
its gentle breezes chase painful dark clouds away,
Now showing me clear path towards a better tomorrow?

visiting the 6ft where you lie in eternal rest,
knowing that death and heaven brought you release;
trying to visualize your joy on that shore across,
until we meet again, will be enough for me.

In remaining years of my life on earth,
days dat I will miss your merriment and mirth,
sometimes might sadly long for all the yesterdays;
Feeling like chatting and your most understanding character

Yet, the morals of kindness taught me,
good things in life have helped me to realize;
lasting gifts that comfort and can sustain,
The journey to that peaceful shore.
