Introduction

Hi everyone I am pleased to be here once again to use this opportunity to share with you, how I spent my day. Every new day is a blessing to us individually and we have to acknowledge this fact in order to have a positive mindset and achieve our goals.
IMGWA0054.jpegI took this photo on Saturday but I'm posting it here to remind you of how awesome my weekend was, from Saturday to Sunday.

Morning

Waking up was so easy when I found out it was raining on a Sunday morning. I woke up by 6:45am and engaged in house cleaning as I do every Thursday and Sunday. I had a lot to do, and I had to rehearse a public talk I was about to deliver at our weekend Christian meetings on zoom video conferencing by 9 am.

Before it was 8:30 am, i was done with everything, so I rehearsed the public talk, then dressed up for our meetings.

We find our meetings so refreshing, and this time, we learned how we can achieve peace in this troubled world and also, how we can hold on to the true peace prepared for us in future by our God.

We also learn that studying about creation, meditation on God's Word the Bible, and telling others about God will improve and strengthen our faith in God.

The meeting ended and I had to go to the market to buy food stuffs and cook. I wanted to cook rice and stew.
Things have gotten so expensive to the extent that I had to go to the ATM twice to withdraw money in order to compete what I wanted to buy. Lastly, I was done buying so I came home, cooked and ate, then I rested for a while.

Afternoon

I had an appointment for sports with few friends at the National Stadium in Surulere. I left the house by 2:45pm to meet up with the football match we scheduled. Being with friends on a weekend is a good feeling.

We enjoyed the match, had fun, took pictures and talked for long.

Finally, it was time to go, also, it started raining by 6:30pm, so we were forced to start going back to our various homes.

Evening and Night

The rain beat me to the core as I took a bike home. I was shivering and had to bath immediately I got home.

After bathing, I enjoyed the meal I cooked in the morning once more, watched an interesting program on Dstv, then replied multiple messages I had on whatsapp.

When I lay down to sleep, I said a prayer, called some friends on phone, and was about sleeping.

Eventually, by 10:30pm, I received a call from my cousin, telling me that our house in Aba nearly got totally burnt. Though one of my cousins was injured. The incident wasn't as serious. I sympathized with them, posted some memes on whatsapp and slept off. I guess that's how my activities for the day ended that Sunday.

Conclusion

Always expect the best, but don't fail to prepare for the worst. Life is unpredictable. Enjoy every moment of your life and never see a reason to have a negative mindset on anything.
