It's all in the eyes
This guy stood at a comfortable 12ft plus, in length (or height?). We were driving to the airport this last Tuesday morning and there he was, hung on a stake by the local farmers who caught her in a trap, waiting for a savage person who eats snakes to buy it for the evening's snake soup. Yulk!
We stopped the car and everyone had pulled out their mobile phone cameras. I reached for my cheap macro lens adapter and opted for some details while everyone took full length pictures of this Bible scene reenactment. Lol.
I have a full picture of the snake, but can't share it because it has my cousin in the frame, posing with the snake, and I don't want y'all to see how much of a cool Mandingo he is. Sauce! 😂
First thing I asked was, can this swallow a human being? Yes, but has to be a kid. Through which head? I queried. Then I remembered that NatGeo documentary and the wonderful mechanic of its jaw system.
I hate snakes, and I hope this freaks you out like it did me 😝

All pictures taken with an Infinix X603 mobile phone (with 2x optical zoom), and a very very cheap clip-on macro lens adapter. They are fucking mine and if you steal them, I'll look for you, and I'll have you swallowed by a python while I film.

I suppose that's correct, because they stay away from people as much as they can, reason why it's rarely seen. But this very one, my friend, is lifeless. Sorry I cheated. Haha. It would have been great to have the guts to get this close to a live one, but I'm a lot more flaky. Lol. Python was in Nigeria. Uyo, to be exact. It's such a shame they killed it.
Why did they kill it? Is it eatable or any other reason?

I wish you dropped a full view.
Pythons are harmless in many communities in Anambra State where they have been personified. Infact the pythons in these communities even move closer to humans invading their homes, their kitchens and bedrooms especially is search for warm places and occasionally lying side by side with people on their beds while they sleep, only to be discovered at dawn or in the middle of the night.
I have had many encounters with the snake. Very large ones and even small ones.
A good example of such communities are Okija, Ihiala, Uli and many others.
I wrote a steem post about it a long time ago.

Hahaha. If I find a snake in my bed, I will relocate from that city and sell off the house and everything in it. Wow... good to know of such places. I heard some parts of Ebonyi State experience such parley with the slithering being. I am comfy reading about those places. I never want to see for myself. Lol. And... I did NOT pose with a snake 😜
woah dude that is crazy. I haven't ever ran into a snake larger than maybe 5' in the wild

Come and meet the hatred gang of slithering animals, which i am the president, when we see anything that looks like a sna...I don't need to finish the spelling, we are either bolting or killing.
