WE WANT TO SHARE STEEMIT TO 5,000 PEOPLE IN LAGOS.
A few things are given: the more people embrace Steemit, the better value we all get. Second, Lagos is Africa's largest marketplace.
So I was thinking how to marry that. Thanks to inspiration from the team in Greece (@greek-trail) I figured this will work for the best of our community: let us get people in Lagos aware of Steemit. Let us go out to the world.
WHY LAGOS?
I already mentioned this place being Africa's megacity with a very vibrant population. This is the centre of virality, the Cox of the force named Nigeria, with a 21m woke population.
SO WHAT?
We will print 5,000 A6 flyers with catchy info about Steemit and an invite to join, have 10 Steemians collaborate to hand these out at three of the city's hottest points on a weekend.
WHERE EXACTLY ARE "HOT POINTS?"
Let's say going about Lagos earned you points, these place are the points whales:
- Ikeja City mall
- Palm Malls Lekki
- Maryland mall
The first two boast a combined 159 retailer stores, and these include the biggest brands around the world: Apple, Nike, Swatch, Puma, Genesis Cinemas, Silverbird,Game, Shoprite, etc; and a combined parking of 2,500 cars.
You will agree those are vibrant waters to cast our nets.
WHAT WILL THIS COST?
5000 A6 flyers at NGN46,000
10 Steemit Branded T-shirts at NGN35,000
Graphics design and Logistics at NGN30,000
GRAND TOTAL: NGN111,000 ~ $350
I have already solicited the support of other Steemians who are on ground to push this with me.
WHO PAYS FOR THIS?
I solicit we do this as our signature self: as a community. An UPVOTE, a RESTEEM. That is all it'll take for real. I will update you on the spending of every cent. I am just a servant who owes the community accountability.
