Steem And Me - 5 Questions Answered

Hey guys, so in my routine of curating this morning I came across a post by @katrina-ariel and after reading I just had to do mine. So yeah thank you for the inspiration, though I wasn't nominated.

This is a new challenge created by @snowpea, intended to help us think about some of the best things about the Steem blockchain, and some things that need improving.

Steem and Me – Five Questions

1.) In my opinion, what are the two greatest aspects of the Steem platform?

Many thing's burst my head about the steemit platform, to pick the greatest is quite tough for me because each option has a fill of its strength, will it be the venture into the ever increasing possibilities of turning me into a potential full time poet, promoter, and content developer, or its ability to make me collaborate and work with excellent minds from every sphere of the world?

One thing I think I love the most about steemit is its ability to bring together different talents from all over the world in attempt to accomplish the same goal. Every time I think about the collaborative effort involved in the development of the Steem Monsters game, I'm always amazed, steem monsters is a game on the steem blockchain that involves collecting of valuable cards, trading cards, and ofcourse the fun part of getting involved in battles that either strengthen your cards in a way spurs you into getting more cards. At the inception, the game was merely and idea, but fast forward to a couple of months after, that idea has generated over $200,000 in revenue, and the battles are still yet to commence. Boooya! Now this is what I'm talking about. Steemit has the ability to perform as an idea incubator, just think about that idea and come on over to see your idea flourish with hands on deck from different spheres of the world, that ofcourse is if your idea is..you know....hot like fire, like the Steem Monsters.

I made a post few days ago about how much of a content developer steemit has turned me into over the months I've been here. I checked my stats and realized that I've made over 400 original mind blowing posts with over 4000 comments, I would not say this is an easy feat to achieve as it involves continuous brainstorming of topics and constant attempt at producing quality and sharing intelligent opinions which spurred me into doing research of diverse topics. This not only improved my versatility and style but also enabled me to be a source of inspiration to other people too. My second greatest thing about steemit has to be this.

2.) What are the 2 largest complaints I have concerning the Steem platform, and what possibilities do I see for improvement?

This is a very nice question, there are a quite a number of things to criticize about the platform, I'm very open to constructive criticism and as a result, I do tend to give out my opinion when its needed. One thing I think I will like to be improved on the steem platform is its level of promotion to the offline, I think little attention is being paid to offline publicity of steemit, and it could be better, I remember when Bitcoin became a thing here in Nigeria, it was easy to look to a corner and find an outlet labelled a big bitcoin signage where people can walk in and learn more about bitcoin and even open up a wallet. This should not be lacking in steem as well, there should be outlets and oflfine stations situated around the globe.

More attention should be paid to on-boarding, and I know a lot of things are being done to keep user retention, but more could be done, and more incentives could be given to investors so that more newbies are spurred to invest, as much as a lot of people are on steemit to grow and develop themselves and make monetary returns, they should also have reasons to invest monetarily. Its a win win situation anyway.

3.) What 2 moments are the most memorable to me?

Ah, straight to the point with this one. If you dont know who @dimimp is, then i'm sorry I cant explain this better to you, he is the king of drama on steemit, my first most memorable moment was when @dimimp hired me on the SteemJet Space Force, dang I felt it because I knew he just set me on a pedestal to do awesome stuff, superstar stuff.

My second best moment was when @dimimp approve to sponsor a project steemjet campus busters which involved promotion of steem to the offline by going to Universities here in Nigeria to teach steem and onboard other potential superstars, its quite sad now anyway as we had to crash the project due to re-alignment of goal from the oga untop. Dang I was really having fun that time,I wish it would not end, I had more purpose and I was always fired up with the best team ever. Anyway, it is what it is, unto greater things, hopefully.

4.) What are the two most important lessons I've learned in my time as a Steemian?

• I've come to understand that if one does not have a goal, then such things as persistence and or commitment will not and can not do any good.

• Its interesting how a lot of lessons learnt on steemit can be translated to real life as well. After the volatile wealth, what else do you have on steemit? The relationships and wealth of knowledge gained over the time. This is the truth, a lot of people loose all interest and motivation when there is no money. Change that thought, its a wrong approach to life.

5.) Out of my entire time here, what 2 posts am I most proud of?

Ah I have a series named after an Italian word for female lover, Inamorata, I still dont know which is my best but here try Queen Inamorata
