Rexxie Takes It All - Splinterlands

Rexxie Rexxie Rexxie...its got one of the best names in the entire Splinterlands, I could name my dog Rexxie and bet it will act out just fine unlike names like Bingo or Bruno lol, with such names you can bet that when you tell your dog to go forward its going to go backward and do a spin while wagging its tail.

Anyway...Rexxie here is a Earth monster(Dinasaur) with a very high mana of 7 with melee damage of 4 and has 6 lives. If you follow my Splinter-blogs you'd know I'm a huge fan of low mana cards, I seldom use high mana cards in battles except the rule set accommodates such which doesn't happen too often, but for the purpose of this post, I found a perfect time to bring in Rexxie in my battle.

Before I go into the details of the battle, let me tell you what Rexxie can do.

As we can see from the image above, we can fairly say its a big bad wolf Dinasaur right? Like literally, or lets say it becomes a big bad wolf from its level 4 higher due to its ability to trample with an increased damage of 5 with 7 lives. What trample does is to make it attack the next enemy monster after it kills the immediate monster it engages with.

So let's go into battle, it only makes perfect sense to let Rexxie take the lead as the first monster due to its damage and life count, while supporting it with ranged monsters behind.

Here I've got Rexxie on level 2 and using the Earth summoner gives and extra life which makes it 8 and quite equipped.

Next on the line is the Goblin Sorcerrer a Ranged magic monster with a damage of 2 and ability to snipe, that is to intelligently seek out enemy monsters to eliminate, I like that card.....a lot.

Right next to it is the Earth elemental, a common monster With the ability to heal itself and also has a very low mana of 3, it comes in handy a lot when your rule set gives you low overall mana and you need something that will last long and yet be useful from a distance. It does just that.

Lastly, I have spirit of the forest, one of the most powerful cards in the whole Splinterlands, I have this monster at level 2, which gives it the ability to tank heal, fly and pierce through enemy armours with its ranged attack.

One other interesting thing I like about Splinterlands is that every battle lasts not more than 3 minutes for you to know whether you won or lost, its so cool like that...
