Job miss road

I spoke to a lady about steemit, she's in that stage where she's just about to enter into the labour market so I thought I should offer her the good news of steemit where she could showcase her passion, engage with a rewarding community and expand her skills over meaningful time while learning many other things on the way, but she said I should get her a job first, then we could talk about cryptocurency.

When I was told about steemit, I literally packed my bags and baggages and left everything I ever knew and followed it. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but the reaction was that close.

Cryptocurrency sounded like something I would like to know about, if it wasn't too deep and costly and to my surprise I learnt that everything happened within a social-like media platform where users engage with other users through their posts and based on the quality of the connection established therein could lead to the beginning of many partnership and relationships and even a likelihood of an incentive based reward which in turn helps the user to build their own investment in the system.

The idea sounded a bit futuristic to be honest but it is a future I want to take a front seat at, so I hopped in at full speed. Anyway I smiled at her and said I would talk to a friend or two and see what I can come up with, she showed her gratitude, smiled and left. Little did she know that my one or two friends are steemadicts.

This cage is mine, don't release me

Don't blame me I didn't know it would happen like this, I merely started like a lot of people, blog earn, go for meet up, earn, lol, it was nothing like that, but I'm glad I attended those meet ups because they helped infuse in me the belief in the possibility of the capability of the platform , wow so this people really exist, so Steem can make these kind of moves? People?

So I needed to discover the way out, the way up there, where my posts would rake in money like these people I'm seeing, little by little I got to understand the importance in steempower, the major differences in Steem and sbd, the terms and their implications, these things take days as its still going on. I began to meet people, attend discord classes, I soon realised that there wasn't one way, the platform was much like an open ground of diversity of people from different spheres of life, representing the best of themselves with the expectation of the creation of a network or social interaction for community or personal development.

From a professional diary owner to a professional blogger, there was nothing but mere fiction of imaginations.

Everyday was something new to discover, either in the community or in the self, either it was about an altcoin, or steem, writing or technology, it became an everytime activity for me, a hobby, a lifestyle, not a job, never as a job, so it was hard for me to convince the lady from the point of view that she wanted a job, from a professional diary owner to a professional blogger, there was nothing but mere fiction of imaginations.

However, now there is a direction, a vision, a goal, it is beyond the race of a mere rat-hunt. Now I know how far I have to go to get to where I want, I also know how I need to get to where I need to get to, it doesn't end there, I've already begun that journey. All my life of working jobs have never brought me that feeling.

A job where you get to be your own boss, where you know there are implications to your actions in a community where freedom of expression is a watchword, incentivized in such a way that there is a conscious continuous mutual understanding and tolerance for humanity, while having a go at proactively investing in ones future. That sure is one heck of a hobby to me, more like a lifestyle.

So it all begins with conquering the orientation of the mind to begin to accept and believe in the possibilities of the evolution of a future which already has begun. I'm getting close to a year on steemit and if you will ask me how it has been so far, I can tell you that I've had a whole season of an experience, you're going to need a chair because it is going to be a very long discussion, yet I've barely just even started and there is still so much for me to know and get involved in.

I'm confident in progressive elaboration though, as I'm very comfortable with learning and growing not the other way around.

I hope you had a nice read, have a good day ahead.

As awesome as steemit sounds, don't forget that people do struggle to excel here.

The truth is that the average human loves security. The thought of having a full time job, paid a monthly salary, albeit little - is too appealing for most.

True.... This is not a place for meriment

The struggle is very immense, especially if you are not a big investor, but its all in a goal to breed quality, people who struggled their way up can tell us that, even by the quality of their blog it is obvious, but it is work that is well worth it, because it even helps to rate your performance on the go, if this post made no sense, then you might not be here, howbeit is it under valued? or overvalued? is only a measurement of performance for me, because I know for a fact that I can do better whichever ways.

I really cant blame those people, some people have unconsciously bound themselves to factors that do not grant them the opportunity to try something different from what they always get, some people dont have the chance to be daring, and this place takes a lot of daring. This place is hardly tolerant to average
