The Diary Game (15:12:2024) Attending Multiple Occasion, Wedding And Child Dedication

Hello my beloved steemians, Compliment of the season. I hope you're all doing well as and enjoying the season, as for me I am smelling Christmas already 😂.
Please permit me to share with you how my yesterday daily routine went.

The Couple

I woke up early as usual at about 5:30am, after doing my morning prayer, I had few dirty clothes to wash, so I hurriedly attend to it before taking my bath and dressing up for church. Since I don't always eat to church on Sunday morning, so there was nothing that will delay me again.

After dressing up, I stepped out to the bus stop to pick a bus down to church.

After standing for few minutes I finally got a bus and entered to church. I arrived the church quite on time and located my seat by the choir stand.

We had a wedding in our church that yesterday, so the leader of service officiated the service very quickly. The worship and praise session was on for about 40minutes, but the praises session really took much time than then worship, so we really had enough time to dance and praise God.

After then, the three choirs ministered their songs before the pastor mounted the pulpit and preach the word of God. The preaching took about 35minutes before he now switched into the wedding program.

The couple were called to march up to the pulpit and the pastor said a brief word of advice to them and admonished them to love one another and to also adjust and and accept each other, as they are now one body (husband and wife).

After then he joined them in marriage, they both said their marital vows and then prayer were made for them by the whole church before the pastor prayed the final prayer for them, then the part one came to an end, as the couple match outside to take some photoshoot with friends well-wisher.

I also took that opportunity to snap picture with my choir members too.

I also took a phot of the bride with some well-wishers by their side. After the photo session the bride went to change from her wedding gown into a simple gown for the reception party, she took much time to do the changing.

Since I had another occasion mind to attend, I just picked up my hand bag and off I went out from the reception hall and went straight to my house to change into simple cloth for the reception ground for the child dedication because I knew that I won't be able to meet up with the church again since I left the wedding reception by 3pm to my house.

I had to prepare something to eat in my house because leaving since I was very hungry.

My first meal of the day

After eating, I dress up with my two piece cloth and locked my door, then moved out to the bus stop to pick a bus to the reception hall.

When I arrived the venue I saw that some people were going home already that shows I was very late, but I still thank God I was able to go meet up with them before they left.

Did I tell you it's my uncle child dedication I was going, so immediately I entered the hall I saw him and when I greeted him, he said to me, if it's now that my boyfriend allows me to come, I just laughed and explained my reason for coming late, so he said oya start clearing the table, as everywhere was littered with plate of unfinished food and bottles of drinks.

That was how I switched into action, that was when I saw the wife and she was thanking for having time to come around even with the short notice the husband gave me.

I helped a lot in clearing the tables and also parking out the empty bottles of drink into their crates, before she realized that she hasn't offered me any food or drink yet, but I wasn't hungry anyway, because I just finished eating in my house before coming.

But i ate chicken feet's and also drank one bottle of soft drink.

After I have finished eating and drinking I later went back to tidy up the whole place before pack all the empty coolers and crate of drinks back to my uncle's house.

I and the wife had to washed all the dirty plates, cooler and big big pots and keep before I arranged myself and my aunt dishes some of the leftover fried rice for me to take back home , my uncle gave me transport money to pay my way back home.

So on my way home, as I highlighted from the tricycle by my street junction, I sighted a roasted poke meat stand and I crave for it instantly, that's how I branch and buy some from the money my uncle gave me.

I wanted to use the meat to eat the rice my aunty gave me because there was no meat in it, but I ended up eating part of the meat on the road before trek down to my house.

As I reached the house, I bath first before I dished out the rice and preserved the remaining in the fridge, before I began to eat.

My second meal for the day (dinner).

After eating I was so tired and I needed enough rest as I was so stressed up all through the day. That was how I retired to bed. Thanks for having time to read my article to the end, till my next diary session, goodnight.
