Step 3

I added quantity of water I wanted into it and placed the pot on fire to start cooking, while it was cooking on fire I pounded the crayfish and set aside and I also prepared the bonga fish by removing the shelf and the tiny bones from it, washed and set aside too, I washed the periwinkle very well and set aside also.

Step 4

After 15minutes of boiling, I then added other ingredients like, the pepper, seasoning cube, Bonga fish, red oil, crayfish, periwinkle and salt to taste.

Step 5

I covered the pot and allowed it to boil for about 5 to 7minutes again, when it has boiled and almost done, I then added the sliced pumpkin and curry leaves into the pot of plantain on fire.

I stirred it together then I covered the pot and then allowed it to simmer for 2 minutes before I turned of the cooking gas and put the pot down.

My delicious porridge plantain was ready to be eaten, I dished out the portion I want to eat while I preserved the rest in the freezer so that it can still stay fresh whenever i want to eat it.
