Pasta sauce a la Adriana 🇨🇮
Pasta sauce from heaven
My mother-in-law could make the tastiest pasta sauce of the world.
She had received this recipe from her Italian sister in law, Aunt Anny
And she passed the recipe back to me. And one day.............
I will pass it on to my daughter
👀It is a simple pasta sauce and it is finger licking good 👀
What do you need:
- Ground beef
- Leek
- Onion
- Garlic
- Tomato paste 🍅
- Pepper and salt
And the secret ingredient: an egg 🥚
How to prepare:
Cut the leeks into thin rings, chop the onion and peel the garlic
Fry the onions and the garlic in olive oil and add pepper from the pepper mill
When the onions are glassy, add the leek rings and fry everything well
Put the vegetables in a bowl and fry in the minced meat in the pan
Add the vegetables again and shove well. Lower the heat
Add the tomato puree and again shove well
Add little by little-boiled liquid until the sauce has a nice thickness
And finally the secret ingredient: stir an egg into the sauce
Add pepper and salt as much as you like
Buon appetito
Have a great day!

Hello @mismau, sound very nice.
-Can you clarify the line about the tomato puree.
-Do you mean tomato puree from a little can?
-With boiled liquid do you mean water?
Yes the little tin cans (tomatenpuree). Mix the meat and the vegetables. Add the tomato paste to this mixture. And add boilled water.
Thanks, I was a little confused because you wrote:
"Add the tomato puree again and again well"
"boiled liquid" can also be milk or wine, that's why I asked.
By the way, some milk in a sauce for lasagna or pasta can be very good
Wine is alsoo very good😜
Ciao
This recipe sounds so good. I love leeks and I think they would add a delicate flavour to the sauce. I will make this the next time we have spaghetti.
