Feathered Friday - Birds of the St. James's Park
Hello, lovely steemians!
This is the second week of my participation in the Feathered Friday Challenge hosted by @KeithBoone here on steemit. When I first learned about the challenge, I immediately remembered all the beautiful birds I saw in St. James's park in London last time I was visiting. Today, I searched trough my pictures and chose some to share with you.
What I like about this first photo, is the illusion of the pigeon watching all the ducks in the pond (both common and exotic) with envy, because they are able to swim and he is not.
Maybe not the most exotic, but the cutest bird of all of them (at least in my humble opinion) is the Greylag goose.
Swans are always beautiful and regal. Here's the white one:

And here you can see little coots - I think this was the first time I learned about their existence.
Look at their unusual feet!

Wonderful collection of water birds plus pigeon! Do you know what the bird in that last photo is! The one with the funky feet?
Thank you! The funky feet bird is the Eurasian Coot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_coot
It does look similar to the Coots that I see here, but I don't know if I've ever seen their feet.... maybe ours have funky feet, too!..... I just went to look. They do!
