Dragons are flying reptiles, covered with scales. They have two legs and a pair of huge webbed wings, like those of bats. Dragons can spew fire, literally exhaling from the mouth. Dragon fire - "drakaris" on high Valirian - has an exceptionally high temperature, in its presence not only metal, but even stone melts. The dragon is extremely difficult to kill - the adult dragon covers the whole body, including the belly, with a strong scales. The only vulnerable place are the eyes and the brain behind them, and not at all belly or throat, as they say in some legends.
