Birds at all times were associated with freedom and the boundless sky, distant dreams and spiritual strength, divine will and unattainable joy. Of course, this only applies to flying birds.

A blue jay isn't very blue in B&W. So the color really adds a certainty! The B&W looks like a finch to me. Your art is very enjoyable.
