What is Tampah?

Tampah is a tool made of woven split bamboo tree trunks that are round like a plate diameter between 65-80 cm.
This tool is usually used to winnow rice that is cleaning the rice from the dirt-dirt before washing and cooked by way of sieve manually hand, then dirt will automatically leave out.


In addition to winnowing rice, tampah also useful to put snack cake which is usually called cake tampah, tampah also used as a base for tumpeng then to dry crackers or gending crackers. This tool is still widely used by the people of Indonesia because it is a good tool, cheap and a lot of benefits and lightweight when used.
In addition to its price is also affordable to the community.
