Palić lake. (Serbia)

Palić lake is 8km from Subotica, near the town Palić, in Serbia. Area that covers is about 4 square kilometers. Average depth of lake is about 2 meters. There are over 200 bird species in the protected section of the lake. In 1970., lake was dried and filled, before refiling people made artificial islands. They become known as a bird islands.
