What Could be the Future of Blogging?

I would have to say at this point that no one can really predict the future of blogging. However since more and more people are jumping on the Steemit bandwagon, it might be easy to predict somewhat.

All I can say for myself is that once I started to get into the habit of writing one post daily on Steemit, I'm not paying as much attention to my personal blog, as well as to my mom blog.

Perhaps it's best to add content on those blogs because they are there for potential social media clients to see. However I don't usually add something more than once a week, and I am using a lot of content from guest posters. They write up a post, they get a few back links and I publish their work on my blogs. Of course they get the credit since they wrote the content unless they don't care.

I'm just thinking the more people that use Steemit as their blogging platform, Wordpress blogs and other blogging platforms that people used may end up losing a lot of popularity.

It's really hard to say. I can't speak for other people as they may find other uses for their old blogs. But for me personally, I'm not using my Wordpress blogs very often except for hosting content from guest posters.
