Hey Steemit! I’m Trinnie & This is My #introduceyourself

Hi Steemit, my name is Trinitas D. Odenigbo. ‘Trinnie’ for short works. I’m 23, Nigerian, and I live in the state’s capital, Abuja.
Sometime last month, I spent an entire evening with a friend who couldn’t stop going on and on about web3 and crypto, and decided I’d go through videos on youtube to better understand what she was on about.
That was how I came up on a video where Steemit was listed as a web3 platform.
Of all the other platforms listed in that video, Steemit stood out for me because it had everything to do with writing. Have i mentioned I LOVE writing? This platform is literally about to be my happy place.
I graduated college last year with a second class, upper division in International Relations. I own and run a food delivery business that I named Purple Menu, and a clothing web shop I named Good Buy. I also own a grant with my siblings, The Odenigbo Grant, where small businesses get to write on a topic to win money to fund their businesses.
Writing is one of the oldest parts of me. First thing I ever wrote creatively was a poem titled “four legs”when I was 7. It was about a blue chair in my room.
Music is also a big part of my life, like I really have a playlist for every mood. Charity is another thing I’m so in love with as I am an empath.
I have very little experience with crypto beyond friends and some family who talk about it around me. I’ve traded futures a couple times too on Binance, other times I surf the internet looking for more demystification after another day where I had to listen to crypto-heads talk about it.
I’m very excited about being on Steemit and for everything I’m going to be sharing with all of you. I also love the fact that it’s a web3 platform, it makes me feel so progressive :p
I know I’m going to grow on Steemit, even beyond my current expectations (which are only a little too high :D) and connect with many of you in ways I’ve never done before, especially through my writing, and i literally can’t wait!
