Mod Meeting Minutes 11/18/17

Hey all. In continuation of a policy towards transparency I'm (@aggroed) publishing meeting minutes from 11/18/17. I apologize for some delays on these, but it's mostly the holidays' fault.

Motion was passed to Publish the Edited Mod Meeting 10-21-17

Committees:

Finance
Waiting to hear if Blocktrades could give us a better rate for delegation.
Setting up a trading fund for Minnowsupport is another possible idea.

Msp Bid-bot script - if you delegate you will get some money back proportional to your delegation.

5% of daily revenue goes back to Minnow Support so we have a constant flow of money and are also able to help the minnows have a useful bidbot

Clay says that public opinion is largely against bid bots

Aggroed says when they switched to linear rewards they created the existence of bidbots

Ron says that we need to be extremely proactive in making sure spammers aren't using our bid bot, and that will keep public opinion on our side

Curation
Aggroed will make Isaria and Julia admins of MSP3k so we can add curation members

Isaria is going to make a post about exactly how our curation plan is working on Minnow Support

Kubby is finishing some documents

Anti-abuse team
Disco says he wants to focus on quality content so that we aren’t losing VP on spam posts
Disco is woking on a document that explains what he is doing and why

MSP3k - working on a configuration to only comment once per post

Auto refund on minnow support using doctor otto
Motion to run a fake Dr. Ottto on Minnowsupport as a way to get refunds out through the bounce command was passed

Voted to not take on any new junior mods at this time

Motion was passed for R0nd0n to be a Senior Mod

R0nd0n says we need a mute command so that mods can mute users and it automatically pulls votes
