So much is happening in and around the MSP PALnet Fiction Workshop on Discord, starting with some exciting changes to the way our curation trail, @SFT, reaches out to the Steemit community. Until now, you’ve only experienced its posts a time or two per week, because the already over-extended @Rhondak has been solely responsible for making them happen. In an effort to reach out more often and integrate some of the projects that either directly or indirectly support the @SFT account, we will be posting more often and from a variety of curators. We'll be using the msp3k program medal of honor winner turned top 50 Witness put together to make curation a team effort.

It probably seems a sensible path for me to open with a “Meet your Curators” sort of post, but in good fiction style we'll start at the end and work our way forward. I’m going to tell you about the fantastic radio show The Fictioneers have coming up this Tuesday. The Fictioneers are an integral part of the Minnow Support Project and the ultimate vision for the Fiction Workshop, and specifically, the future evolution of @SFT. So, relax a second, we'll get there, and you can meet your curators in the @SFT feed Wednesday .

Yeah it is! These are some seriously epic people.

But back to Tuesday. You absolutely must do everything in your power to be available and listening to MSP Waves from 6-8 pm EST (10-12 pm UTC). The Fictioneers will be opening this week’s program with a very special guest, Diane Ryan, author of paranormal novels, Talking to Luke and its sequel, Wingspan. She’ll be discussing not just the publishing scene and her current work, but some real-life political intrigue. You will not want to miss out.

Once Diane has finished wowing us with her talent, wit, and revelations of evil, intrigue, and insanity in the real world, Fictioneers will be laying the latest on the Live Critique chopping block. Joining the regular crit-crew will be @horrorguyian, resident noir-junkie, to tell folks just what show host @jrhughes is doing wrong (and maybe right) with her @geke -inspired work in progress, One in the Oven, One in the Chamber, a pulp novel following the exploits of a pregnant assassin and her pursuit of maternity leave in an Independent Contractor position.

I know, who gets a benefits package these days, amirite?

Afterward, come and join us at the Fiction Workshop where we serve up inspiration with a side of double-entendre. We have recently streamlined our submission process, so drop something in the queue for us to peruse! While you wait, feel free to weigh in on others' submissions. The critiquing process is open to all who are willing to offer feedback in an honest but considerate fashion. Remember, while a professional editor is important, our audience will not consist solely of professional editors. We also want to hear from ordinary readers who can help even by pointing out what does and does not hold their interest in a piece.

I hope this little update has entertained--and even more importantly--tempted you to become a part of the incredible community growing at MSP PALnet. The fiction workshop is one of the premier channel destinations in the MSP community and one of the strongest parts of our brand. They support our educational mission to improve the quality of writing on the platform day in and day out.
