I've shown all of our animals so far except the very first one we got. Introducing Luna the leaner, our Blue Tick Coon Hound... We call her that because that's about the only thing she does. She's more of a people dog rather than a normal dog. When we used to go to the dog park she would go up to every person and lean on them to get pet totally ignoring all the other dogs she's quite pushy. She is awfully cute and friendly though.

How she became ours

While my wife and I were still living in a one bedroom apartment we both were wanting a dog for when we bought our first home but hadn't planned on getting one until we knew we were going to move. We would often go to the local dog shelter just to see what they had and get a feel for what kind of dog we would both like. The last time we went I caved and we ended up getting this cute hound dog that just had love in her eyes. She was 4.5 years old at the time and had gone through 3 families before we got her. I'll spare you all the stories we have of her for now but here are some pictures of our silly little hound dog.

Luna the Leaner:

isn't she adorable? ...with one black nostril and one pink nostril

During the winter Luna would often sit down in front of the heater for long periods of time..kind of weird.

She also sits in strange positions on her swivel rocking chair.

She will literally eat anything, vegetables, fruit, she even had a spoon full of wasabi and came back for more with a wiggling tail.

This was her cuddle buddy until it got shredded.

That's all for now but she will sneak her way into future posts. She can be a nuisance at times for instance anytime it rains she howls non stop but we still love her.
