Restaurant under water

Yes the building is the first seabed restaurant that will surely become a historic building in the future.

At a glance, "Below" looks like a concrete container, thrown into shallow water near the village of Båly, but once inside it radiates life.

This restaurant will have space to accommodate up to 100 guests, and the building will even double as a marine research center when no one eats.

"More than an aquarium, its structure will be part of its marine environment, coming to rest directly on the seabed five meters below the surface of the water," wrote Snøhetta. "Like a concave periscope, the large acrylic window of the restaurant offers a view of the ocean floor as it changes throughout the season under various weather conditions."

Snøhetta hopes to begin construction next year, with the aim to open it in 2019.
