Worship You Only (Poem)
To You my life, as an offering, I bring.
It’s You that I worship, to You, I sing,
Lord Jesus, forever, Your praises shall ring.
You are so wonderful, faithful, and good,
You kept every promise as You said that You would,
Help us obey You as we know that we should,
I’ll bow to no idol of stone or of wood.
I want no idols, none of any kind,
For they are all false, it’s only in You that we find,
God, Creator of all, who gave life to mankind,
Those who forsake You for idols are certainly blind.
You alone are God, You alone deserve glory,
For You make and sustain all, and You are so holy,
I know that to trust in You is never folly,
You are our God, Jesus, and I worship You only.

True Christianity follows Jesus to God, and doesn't turn Jesus into God. Jesus is the mediator between God and men.
