The ones that actually read...are the ones that upvote today...
Hello peeps!
So our favorite platform is up and running and everything came back to normal...or not?
People as usually write their articles, they drop their comments, they upvote the stuff they like etc etc...
But something is still missing...right?
Oh, in case you haven't noticed...steemauto is having some issues and they actually made an announcement earier today saying that in a few hours their system will be ready.
Now the reason I say this is because I look at my feed and I see posts that regularly have tons of votes and pretty good payouts too...but not today...
Don't get me wrong here...I use steemauto for my favorite bloggers too...You can't read every single post especially if you follow lots of people so it is totally normal to support your favorite authors like that. Besides...there is life too you know....we can't stand over the screen 24/7 in case we miss something...
I just wonder sometimes...does anyone actually read?
It seems that those who vote today are the ones that actually do so....

Τη βάρκα την κάτσαμε σαν λαός και την ρίξαμε και σε ξέρα εδώ και καιρό για αυτό και ψαχνόμαστε εναλλακτικά . Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι οι περισσότεροι συνεχίζουμε το κουπί χωρίς να ξέρουμε το λόγο(αφου η βάρκα δεν κινείται) !!!
based on my experience all this time i can say with confident that mostly nobody reads the posts not even the ones that vote manually. There are many factors though like, it's hard because of time, they are easily bored, their tactic is to read the title and then the bottom (or conclusion if it's exists) etc etc
Just as I thought...at times it isn’t weird at all that newcomers just come and then quit in no time. Often(not always) it’s all about who you know...not what your content is about...
exactly! i used to read each and every single post of the ones i followed and make a comment too but i end up having 30 tabs open per day and spending way to much time and at the same time looking for new posts manually from new people. Now i narrowed it down, i constantly vote those that i follow, i semi check their posts and try to make a comment if possible.
I prefer doing the first though but it's too time consuming!
Also i have seen this mentioned by a lot of people and they are actually true. Mostly nobody manually searches for new content thus nobody new will actually see yours or my post. ( except by that and if the post has a lot of payouts). That's quite sad because you basically know everyday that you gonna gather a certain amount of votes and if you are extremely lucky maybe a new one

well. you cant read all worlds books.
as for me, i try to read that which interest me. good poem here and there to keep me in the realm...
there are tons of accounts... most of them abbandoned. its strange. if we just could harvest the innactive accounts. think of all the steempower... million accounts everyone has 15SP those votes would do something. i know the sp are only delegated... but that sp is just wasting.
also i read cos. i dont have problem with reading. and it is important that someone appreciates your work. upvote is good, but engagement is better.
