Long trip, but a great experience. Showcase Sunday

Last week we had the chance to make a one day trip with car to Kalamata. It’s a long trip from where I live actually. Almost 300km away from Athens.

But some really good friends had visited this place earlier this year and they kept talking about their little journey for quite a while.

And since our schedule is loaded we couldn’t spend the night there...maybe next time...

We had lunch at a very beautiful local tavern decorated with great taste.

The surroundings were just amazing. The owner had turned his land into a playground for little kids, but also into a small zoo.

I am really looking forward for another visit to this place as I didn’t have the time to explore the whole village.

Showcase Sundays are a great way to revive some of your older posts either because you feel they were under-rewarded or simply because you enjoyed them back in the day.
