Is it us or them...? The new full power down of @steemit acc is just 42 mil SP

I am looking at my feed and guess what? People are still blogging.Wanna hear something really strange too? They are also vlogging.
I join discord channels to see if everyone's OK and...holy fuck...there are people in there...and they are actually...discussing and having fun. How's that even possible?
Wasn't the end of the world scheduled for today? No?
I thought that since @ned started powering down the @steemit account a sort of destruction would take place...Do I sound like the guy below maybe?
So, here are some facts.
@steemit started a full power down of approximately ~ 34 mil SP last week.
The first of the 13 payments, ~ 2.6 mil Steem were transferred to Bittrex.
At the same time, another 10 mil SP were added to @steemit account which are funds pulled back from @steem account.
The new sum that is now being powered down is 42 mill SP and will result in ~ 3.24 mil dumped Steem for the next 13 weeks.
Nobody got hurt and life keeps going forward.
As I've repeatedly stated, I am one of those who don't blame @ned and Steemit.Inc for the above actions. It is THEIR stake and they can do whatever they want with it. Nobody really knows if they plan on selling all those tokens. They might just sell a portion...or maybe all. They might sell nothing...The fact that these funds were transferred to Bittrex doesn't necessarily mean that they are for sale ;)
One thing is for sure. And that is that STEEM will shine with, or without @ned being around.
If they decide to sell off all of their stake though (they can only do it once), I will gladly keep purchasing Steem as long as price remains at those levels. I am not in a hurry and I am here for the long run. And I am sure many of you share the same vision.

This is great write up post. Actually I was a bit confused back then when I heard about the issue of powering down and I was thinking about the effect and thinking whether the steemit end is near but I was wrong and I am happy for
Yes he is just protecting his stake, got spooked from the hard Fork threat issue. So life still just continues for us @mindtrap
