I have also noticed that the last couple of days... however, we have such crappy wifi where we are so i blamed that before blaming steemit. Lol 😂 but yes... i wonder what the deal is...
I received this error for the first time yesterday and thought it was simply an issue on my part. I figured I needed to clear my cache and continued on with no problem, didn't realize it was a system issue. Thanks for posting this.
Too much load and many people are realizing that they can make money here and tons of people are blooging till they faint in their chair...no more outside fun haha. My new post gave some constructive advise.
I know the feeling, when I just joined, I was on the site 24/7 now I just come here to write a quick blog and share some cool ideas, at the moment I am trying to fall asleep
Good point buddy.. new people are hurstling to make some SDB till they fall asleep however with time, they will reduce--I indicated some advice on my blog post-feel free to see it
I'm not entirely sure @mindhunter... it happens here in the US, as well. I wonder if some of the witness nodes are getting overloaded with the many thousands of new members coming onboard these days?
They'd better get it fixed, because I don't think the load will get lighter...
I don't think it's the witness servers, but the Steemit.com ones?? Not quite sure on this one though. Any witness/Steemit.com input here would be most helpful here. It certainly needs looking at before the ramping up of HF-20!
i'd say it's load because i try busy.org and it's fine so i suggest that it's either some optimizing on the web front end needed or some better ddos protection, i'm not completely sure how the frontend component but for saying the blockchain is distributed it would be smart to do the same for the main website using some kind of round robin setup with the witnesses.
I think it's gotta be the huge uptrend in page views. It's probably why they added the bandwidth meter recently.
If you check @me-tarzan 's charts, page views are at an all time high almost every day.
The Steemit Inc. web servers are at FULL LOAD I think. They need an upgrade to more CPU cores!

That is a server error at their end??!
They are still in beta you have to remember that! They are working hard as we speak to grow the support and network!
Good point 👌👍😁
They are working on upgrading everything as we speak! Just HODL tight and steem on fellow steemians! It is a BETA remember that! ;)
We know it's Beta - that is why we are shouting! (for us ole' sea dogs anyway! Fear not young minnow-ettes! Steem on as @bigdeej tells us!!)
Gotta admit can you name another coin that actually has a beta REAL WORLD APPLICATION that is even half as good as steemit.com is for STEEM?
Very true @bigdeej! I'm gonna 'Steem on' man!
deff following you @mindhunter!
Always happy for a new follower my friend :)
say "us ole' " repeatedly..."beta" be careful..next time HODL ... lol

It's certainly an issue needing looked at as all my other open tabs were working fine :)

I fully agree with you @teamhumble ... something needs done before we move to the Alpha phase.
The new User squalls are treating the ship like a cork in a blender... @gogogadget platform!
