Good lord, after actually re-watching this video (saw it awhile back), I'm absolutely disgusted by this woman.
She is a horrible bigot. Truly an awful person.
Classic example of how TedX speakers can be fucking unimaginably horrible people, literally only a notch above (edit:whoops) KKK members.
Tedx is definitely for the narcissists - my ex-G/F loved these vids ... Mmmmmm ... I wonder why she's my ex- now! LOL! :)
No way, I had the same experience! I suspect this is because Tedx has a looser connection to objective reality than the more vetted Ted talks.
Having said that, I have seen some high-quality Tedx talks too. Perhaps they are just pretty uncritical of the material they allow in, however I doubt if the video you posted was a man speaking of women that way, a riot would have carried him out of the building.
I couldn't even watch 5 minutes of this. It just pissed me off too much.
