Seems like a very handy device to have... I have something similar, but it's a bit problematic because it sometimes tips over... designed for a lighter camera, I think.
It bends to any shape in any position - I've had crappy small ones in the past, but these tough and robust beasties are the dogs bollocks as us Brits would say!
