V O I C E S (An Original Poem)
V O I C E S
Let me introduce you to
the VOICES...
They all have different languages and
live inside my head
Some tell me to dreams so big and
go flying out my bed
Others tell me reading is best,
No time for silly ventures
A couple tell me teeth chattering tales,
Until I start to lose my dentures
Others say, don't make us laugh,
fear is just a myth,
come have some tea with little crows
and floating whales adrift
Some tell me being alone is best
So I can think and stuff
Others remind me of how life is better when
there is company, As life alone is tough.
Sometimes I feel a little lost
when they all want different things
Feeling pulled in multi-directions by
multi-blowing winds.
But what I have realised
after listening a while,
is that the best voice to follow is
the one who truly makes you smile.
The voice that make you giggle,
The voice which makes you glee
The voice of fuzzy feelings,
The voice you'd really want to be..
You know that little voice inside your head,
that makes you feel so free.
Yes, there are many voices, of different shapes and sizes
But remember when you are feeling muddled
because choosing is really hard
Just listen to the quietest voice that
whispers to your heart.

I really like this one, mindfreak. The chattering that goes on inside us all the time is intriguing, especially when we pause to examine it.
Just listen to the quietest voice that
whispers to your heart.
(great final sentence)
Thank you so much @greatdabu.
I am glad you liked it.
