Philippine Sports : San Miguel Beermen still have a chance
It was really difficult to see that one of the favorite teams in PBA has been losing so much in this season. Thankfully, they are now in progress towards getting themselves into the safety position towards the elimination rounds. San Miguel Beermen has been winning recently for two consecutive times which is really a big impact on the team's current standing. As of today, they do have 4 wins and 4 losses while ranking 8th in position in the total standing of all PBA teams.
Their recent win against TNT KaTropa was a total blessing for them since they had almost lost the game after they were being outscored in second and third quarters. But luckily for San Miguel Beermen that their players are started to get heated up and improved their accuracy which they overtake the lead in the final quarter that gives them a safe win against TNT KaTropa.
A joint effort between Murphy and Standhardinger really been a great impact for the team while Santos does his thing as always. San Miguel Beermen has better percentage shooting in field goal and three-point area which gives them the upper hand to win the game. And as for the rebounds, a total of 55 rebounds was being recorded to San Miguel while 50 to TNT KaTropa. It means that there were too many ball opportunities for San Miguel than of KaTropa.
Kevin Murphy manages to score 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists in around 43 minutes. Christian Standhardinger contributed 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 assists in 42 minutes. San Miguel has a greater chance to be still included on the playoffs. I am sure that they will win against Magnolia Hotshots for their next game.
