Colours

Sometimes people see the light in us when we are in our darkest phase...
They tell us "We can do it, you can do it"

But even as they stare at us with determined weak eyes maybe with a taint of pity or anger since they think we cannot see ourselves, we only stare back at them...
"I do not see the light" Our heart burns as we reply them in an unheard communication.

How can we tap strength from what we do not see?
How can we know what we do not know?
How can we reach for what we cannot see?

Sometimes, wishes never come true.
Sometimes we want to draw closer but we only keep drifting farther.

Sometimes, we cannot help ourselves...
That's one of the complexities of life

But there is that hope that maybe everything would be alright...
And that is what we all hold unto.
