It was his birthday!

One of my favorite images! People who say animals dont have feelings have never seen this! I actually think they may feel them all the more strongly for not having the words to describe them. I dont know who took the pic, or what zoo it was at-
I actually used to volunteer at the San Francisco zoo one day a week for 8 hours, and I can say from my experience there that the caretakers in that institution at least were in LOVE with their charges and the critters were very happy there. I have never felt fantastic about zoos in general, but my desire to help out the animals there and give my love out weighed that and I am glad did! Now I now more then I did before, and know many places are very good for the animals. With the way the world is going it may be the only way some will exist, so making them happy places is a really good goal to set.
