Hi guys! It's Mariam Duffour. Trust your day was good. I want to share my day with you. Hmm.. time flies so fast and days go by but with or without smiles the new days will come. Today is yet another new day so I faced it with lots of smiles. I woke up at exactly 5:05am and had a 25 minute morning devotion with my best half(husband). Afterwards I decided to weed my compound because the weeds have cast a shadow on my beautiful compound and since weed are but unloved flowers, they needed to be cut down.

Imelda Marcos once said, " People say I'm extravagant because I want to be surrounded by beauty. But tell me, who wants to be surrounded by garbage?" In the light of this favourite quote of mine, I decided to burn the cleared weeds and other rubbish I had kept overnight.

I know you're wondering if I went go to church today. Well I did. They say cleanliness is next to Godliness, remember? Exactly! So now you understand why I had to do the cleaning in the first place.
At exactly 7:30am, I started preparing for church because Henry Ward Beecher once said," The church is not a gallery for the exhibition of eminent 'Christians', but a school for the education of the 'imperfect ones'." I really love this quote because it always reminds me of my imperfection. I believe that going to church will help make me perfect. I know you don't agree with me but that's my opinion. I suppose you also have your take on why one should go to church. At 9:05am, my baby and I were ready to leave.

We reached the church premise at exactly 9: 20am. Since we were already late I didn't get time to exchange pleasantries.

Church service

I really love the month of June even though I was born in a different month. If you ask me why, I don't even know. I guess it's because I got married in June or maybe not. Guys, if you are still alive in this month of June, expect to experience an angelic visitation as Mary did in Luke 1:26. Did you know that it was in the sixth month that God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee to visit the virgin Mary? What came out of that visitation? Blessings,my friends, blessings!
I received a fair share of that blessing last year and I'm expecting another this month. I really enjoyed the service today not just because of the sermon but also the announcement of a wedding ceremony which is scheduled to take place on 26th of this month .In order not to miss that day, I took a picture with the bride to -be and saved the date. We closed around 11:30am.
