Gender inequality

I will talk about our society where women and girls are oppressed in every way and a strict attitude is adopted. Where in terms of social control, wealth and power, masculinity prevails in every field instead of women. In South Asia in particular, 80% of women are being deprived of their basic rights such as not sharing property, not making their own life decisions, being deprived of education, forced marriage, not being allowed to work and Is it really the thinking of educated people to live within the walls and die there just to do housework?

Women are an integral part of society. However, almost every day there are headlines in the newspapers about honor killings, harassment, acid attacks and domestic violence. Violence against girls and women is a fundamental human rights violation that is often ignored. My personal opinion is that since childhood there are some restrictions on girls like don't go out, do the big things in the house, girls don't read much and other religious customs force them to do things that they are not. Wants to. Is it because of our thinking, culture, society or lack of education? It is a sign of our sick mentality or lack of education that we consider giving more dowry as pride but giving basic rights as wrong.
The disenfranchisement of a woman is one of the biggest inequalities. This disenfranchisement does not leave her from birth to death. The biggest and first disenfranchisement is that people want a woman to have a son and a daughter. At the time of her birth, she is called bad, and from that day onwards, her trials continue, and from the moment of her birth, her dreams are trampled underfoot, and over time, she begins to feel needy. The result of the needy is that a race, a society and a nation get the same slave and the mother of the needy mentality. While the mother has also been called the first school, how can such a mother be able to raise her children and give them their due? Domestic violence is also a big problem in south Asia region and not speaking out against oppression is the biggest sin because men think women are their property and this violence against them increases with each passing day. The effect is not only on this woman but also on her children because every child first learns from their home environment and this strange and selfish system continues to operate.

As well as domestic violence, sexual abuse is becoming more commonplace, and sadly, instead of speaking out against this oppression, they are suppressed by fear of "what people will say" and In the end, it is the oppressed who are to blame. How long will it last? How long will we remain silent like this?

One of the reasons is that in our society the source of income is the man who runs the house and this reason is also known to be the main reason for the need of women, these things have a strange profound effect on the people living in this society. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.

I think the first thing we need to do is change the old thinking and customs that are important for gender equality and for that we have to move forward and fight for our rights and get rid of the idea that We cannot move forward. This is possible only when we begin to speak up for our rights and, most importantly, to change the perception that girls are inferior to boys. On the contrary, girls can progress in every field and make their country famous and perform great deeds.
