En Mateo 11:29 dice: Llevad mi yugo sobre vosotros, y aprended de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón; y hallaréis descanso para vuestras almas
Tu alma tendrá descanso cuando sea mansa y humilde. Cuando me convertí al Señor, venia de un estado de orgullo crónico, a todo el mundo veía por encima del hombro, tenia mal carácter, y cuando estudiaba y no me aprendía algo me rechinaban los dientes y me arrancaba el pelo. Llegue a creer que nunca me iba a casar a causa de ese mal carácter. Pero me arrepentí de ese pecado y empecé a leer la Palabra de Dios. Si estas así, Cristo Jesús puede cambiar esas cosas y te puede dar la paz que sobre pasa todo entendimiento. El alma orgullosa no encuentra paz.
Algunos toman para sí el famoso dicho popular que dice: “Hay que ser manso pero no menso”, y se agarran de él para no dejar de ser orgullosos. El ser manso y humilde se ha interpretado de mala manera. Cuando alguien quiera tomarte el pelo, quédate tranquilo, se humilde. Algunas veces la gente se acerca a decirme que alguien dijo algo o me hizo algo, pero yo le digo que lo deje y se quede tranquilo. Se inteligente, no pierdas la mansedumbre pro ese tipo de cosas.
Dios vive en el cielo, y el cielo tiene las calles de oro y el río de cristal. El cielo es un lugar humilde. El Señor lo hace humilde porque habita ahí.
El rey Salomón dijo que todo era vanidad. Entonces, si todo es vanidad por qué levantas la mano para juzgar a alguien. Si una mujer anda todo el tiempo bien vestida y maquillada, la gente la juzga por vanidad. Lo mismo ocurre con aquel hombre que siempre está bien vestido, le dicen que es vanidoso. Pero, ¿Aquel joven que se viste de jeans rotos y con la camisa de fuera no tiene vanidad? Si lo es, sólo que es cuestión de gustos y de precios.
La falsa humildad es peor que el orgullo. Ésta te lleva a practicar cosas que crees que al hacerlas estarás mejor que los demás. Cuando uno suelta esa falsa humildad se siente bien de vivir así. Echa fuera de tu vida el orgullo y la falsa humildad.
Jesucristo dice que aprendamos de Él que es manso y humilde de corazón, y que es el pan de vida y que quien en Él cree no tendrá hambre jamás.En Juan 8 Jesús dijo que es la luz del mundo, y el que le sigue no andará en tinieblas. Él decía lo que era. Decir lo que eres y lo que Dios ha hecho contigo no es orgullo. Creer que decir no decir lo que eres un orgullo, es falsa humildad.
Jesús dijo que es la puerta de las ovejas y que quién por él no entra es ladrón. Más adelante dijo: Yo soy el buen pastor, el que da su vida por las ovejas. También dijo que Él era la resurrección y la vida y quien en mi cree, aunque esté muerto resucitará. Jesús era humilde, y el decir lo que era no lo hacía menos humilde. El problema con el que muchos cuentan es que a causa de la falsa humildad no saben quién son en Cristo Jesús.
El Poder de la Humildad. Juan 8:12-19. Con dos que testifiquen lo mismo de ti, tu testimonio es verdadero. Pero lo importante es que testifica Dios de ti cuando dices que eres un hijo de Dios y que eres Su heredero, coheredero con Cristo Jesús, y cuando dices todo lo que pidamos al padre no lo va a dar, y que eres templo del Espíritu de Dios, la Palabra da el mismo testimonio. Your soul will have rest when it is meek and humble. When I converted to the Lord, I came from a state of chronic pride, I looked down on everyone, I had a bad temper, and when I studied and didn't learn something I would grind my teeth and pull out my hair. I came to believe that I was never going to get married because of that bad character. But I repented of that sin and started reading God's Word. If you are like this, Christ Jesus can change those things and can give you the peace that passes all understanding. The proud soul finds no peace.
Some take for themselves the famous popular saying that says: “You have to be meek but not foolish”, and cling to it so as not to stop being proud. Being meek and humble has been misconstrued. When someone wants to tease you, stay calm, be humble. Sometimes people come up to me and tell me that someone said something or did something to me, but I tell them to stop it and stay calm. Be smart, don't lose your temper for that kind of thing.
God lives in heaven, and heaven has streets of gold and a river of glass. Heaven is a humble place. The Lord makes him humble because he dwells there.
King Solomon said that all was vanity. So, if everything is vanity, why do you raise your hand to judge someone? If a woman is well dressed and made up all the time, people judge her for vanity. The same happens with that man who is always well dressed, they say that he is vain. But, does that young man who dresses in ripped jeans and with his shirt outside have no vanity? Yes, it is, it's just a matter of taste and price.
False humility is worse than pride. This leads you to practice things that you believe that by doing them you will be better than others. When you let go of that false humility, it feels good to live like this. Cast pride and false humility out of your life.
Jesus Christ says that we learn from Him that He is meek and humble of heart, and that He is the bread of life and that whoever believes in Him will never hunger. In John 8 Jesus said that He is the light of the world, and the one who follows him will not walk in darkness. He said what he was. Saying what you are and what God has done with you is not pride. Believing that saying not saying what you are proud of is false humility.
Jesus said that it is the gate of the sheep and that whoever does not enter through it is a thief. Later he said: I am the good shepherd, the one who gives his life for the sheep. He also said that He was the resurrection and the life and whoever believes in me, even if he is dead, will rise again. Jesus was humble, and saying what he was did not make him any less humble. The problem that many have is that because of false humility they do not know who they are in Christ Jesus.
The Power of Humility. John 8:12-19. With two who testify the same about you, your testimony is true. But the important thing is that God testifies of you when you say that you are a son of God and that you are His heir, joint heir with Christ Jesus, and when you say everything that we ask the father will not give it, and that you are a temple of the Spirit of God, the Word gives the same testimony.
