“Hermanos, no murmuréis los unos de los otros” (Santiago 4:11).
El cristiano que continuamente está murmurando, hablando entre los dientes,
La gente que vive Quejándose detrás de la espalda del pastor y de los hermanos, está provocando discordias, disensiones, pleitos, rencillas; el tal está dando a conocer su escases de poder espiritual, y una vida controlada por los impulsos naturales de la carne.

Los creyentes maduros tienen dominio sobre su lengua con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo,
“llevando cautivo todo pensamiento a la obediencia a Cristo” (2 Corintios 10:5).

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LA MURMURACIÓN.

La murmuración puede ser sobre un hecho falso entonces recibe el nombre de calumnia. Pero también puede ser sobre un hecho verdadero, entonces se le llama chisme. No se cuestiona si lo que se comunica es cierto o no, sino que el hecho de hablarlo, de comentarlo con otros, se constituye en murmuración y eso es pecado.
Si hay algo que nos parece mal de parte de alguien, mejor es platicarlo directa y personalmente con esa persona y no comentarlo por otro lado.
En este caso, si a los hermanos de Moisés les parecía que él se había equivocado al casarse con una madianita, debieron comentarlo con él directamente y los más pronto posible.
Y es que la murmuración y el chisme causa muchos estragos. La Biblia dice: “El hombre perverso levanta contienda, Y el chismoso aparta a los mejores amigos”
(Proverbios 16:28)..

Nuestro Señor llama a los chismosos corruptos: “Todos ellos son muy rebeldes, y andan sembrando calumnias; sean de bronce o de hierro, todos son unos corruptos” (Jeremías 6:28)
Por eso, Dios prohíbe la murmuración dentro de su pueblo: “Haced todas las
cosas sin murmuraciones ni discusiones” (Filipenses 2:14)
¿QUÉ DICE LA BIBLIA SOBRE LA MURMURACIÓN?

Los murmuradores tienen una mente reprobada (Romanos, 1:28-32)
“Y como ellos no aprobaron tener en cuenta a Dios, Dios los entregó a una mente reprobada, para hacer cosas que no convienen; 1:29 estando atestados de toda injusticia, fornicación, perversidad, avaricia, maldad; llenos de envidia, homicidios, contiendas, engaños y malignidades;1:30 murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes a los padres, 1:31 necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia; 1:32 quienes habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios, que los que practican tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, sino que también se complacen con los que las practican”.
Serán destruidos (1 Corintios, 10:10; Salmo, 101:5).

El que murmura en contra de un hermano murmura en contra de Dios (Santiago, 4:11-12)

La murmuración, el chisme y la difamación dañan la esencia de una congregación que es la manifestación pura del amor de Dios. Los chismosos quieren la atención sobre ellos y sentirse apreciados, no soportan ver a otros hermanos ser queridos por la congregación porque sienten que le están robando algo que les pertenece.

Suelen tener apariencia de “santidad”, una santidad que realmente no poseen.
Tienden a ser “amorosos” con los demás, abrazan y besan les dicen a los demás que los aman pero realmente lo que quieren es escuchar que los demás los aman a ellos.
Tratan de acaparar la atención de los demás Usan el teléfono para informar a otros de los “problemas” de algunos hermanos solo con la intención de que oren por ellos, así sutilmente esparcen un chisme disfrazado de preocupación espiritual.

Gustan de aconsejar, se autoproclaman consejeros, de esta manera pueden enterarse de los problemas de los demás.
¿Qué hacemos con ellos?
Ignorarlos, estas personas se alimentan de la atención que reciben, si los ignoramos a la larga desistirán.
Cuando nos quieren hablar de algún hermano dígale que usted va a llamar a esa persona y que los enfrentará, verá que el chismoso le dirá que no, ellos siempre quieren estar en el anonimato.
Si persisten pida una reunión con el pastor y déjele saber quienes son esos chismosos, y esté dispuesto a estar presente en una reunión para desenmascararlos.

Usualmente estas actitudes son las que más crisis causan en la Iglesia, pero hay más, hay personas con conductas difíciles que también forman el ambiente de la congregación, una usualmente tensa.
